BEHIND THE LENS

Born and raised in South Florida, Michelle Alexandra Mejia has been involved in Multi-media since 2004. In 2007 she earned her Bachelors degree winning Best Portfolio for her graduating class at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. She's photographed for a variety of clients across the country including City Link Magazine, Metromix, and NapkinNights.com. Her most gratifying work came when working in schools and alongside children while photographing and video editing for Windwards Motion Graphics, a company which provided schools with yearbooks on video. After photographing a close friend's wedding she realized how precious the moment was and how truely grateful the bride was the have these special memories being documented. That's when she decided her calling and service to others would be using her passion for photography to provide 

something special to the lives of those around her.

 

Newly a mother, Michelle now lives with her family in the tiny town of Poplar, NC, and photographs for family's living around the Asheville, NC and Johnson City, TN area.
